Marketing and Sales Manager
Somtel International Limited is a telecommunications company providing both voice and data services in Somaliland. We are looking for an individual to fill the position of Marketing and Sales Manager (M&S) to join our senior management team.
Position: Marketing & Sales Manager-reporting to the CEO.
The main duties
    Overall strategic planning for the department,
    Brand management,
    Growing the business in terms of revenues and customer base.
    Developing and managing the distribution network,
    Managing customer services,
    Designing product innovation, bundles and launches,
    Advice on pricing, loyalty schemes
    Undertaking research to identify gaps
    Providing leadership to the department.
    Recruit, train, advice and support staff
    Prepare departmental budgets, targets and appraise performance.
Qualifications
    Bachelors degree in Marketing preferably MBA or CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing)
    At least 6 years working experience with the last three at a senior level.
    Experience in Service sector preferably in telecommunications
Competencies
    Excellent teamwork and leadership skills
    Ability to establish effective relations at all levels of Somtel management, staff, customers, media and all stakeholders
    Ability to motivate and inspire staff of the department
    Good communication skills both oral and written
    Ability to analyze problems and problem solving
