The Sahil Regional Court on April 13, 2010 sentenced nine people to different judgment for plotting to assassinate the Commander of the 12th Division of the Somaliland National Army, Col. Osman Yusuf Noor (Af-Qurux), 2009, passing through the center of Las Anod. Although about 40 people were arrested in the case, public outcry over the conspiracy came as a shock when the traces of the investigation were launched a day after the Sool regional intelligence chief entered the gate arrested.

This has greatly strengthened the suspicions and concerns of many sections of the public who predicted the possibility that officials in President Riyale’s government could in no way be spared from being involved in the conspiracy.

However, various circumstances and tensions at times led to suspicion and clashes between the national forces in the front line and some ministers in President Riyale’s government forcing the Minister of Interior, Defense and the Commander of the Armed Forces to hold a press conference on 15 Dec 2010. held together in Hargeisa. After a visit from Sool region, they said that the investigation into the killing of the commander is complete and that he will be brought to justice as soon as possible. 17 people have been detained and the government has shown no mercy, except for what they can get from the law, and has promised to open the hearing.

Although the government promised to open the hearing, it was not possible for the media and many members of the public to hear it, as the hearing began in a hall in Mandera Town Prison, about 90 km from the East side Hargeisa.

However, at the end of the weeks-long hearing, the court’s decision dated April 13, 2010, stated that nine of the ten defendants in the front of Justice Court three of the first defendant in the region intelligence chief Fatah Musa Yusuf, His driver Mohamed  Ahmed Abgaalow  and Abdirashid Yusuf  he was absent and sentenced to the three defendants death.

The court also sentenced three other defendants to 15 years (fifteen years) in prison and defendant Mohamed Jama Duale to eight years (eight years). Abdirashid Ahmed Warsamme (Faroole) was sentenced to 1 (one) year in prison.

The court acquitted four of the accused, after nothing could be further clarified as the judge stated in his decision. But the court ruled that the four Ethiopians and Eritreans should be deported.

Since the beginning of the conspiracy to assassinate the Commander of the 12th Division of the National Army, civil society has been keeping an eye on the case. According to the court’s ruling, she heard more than two dozen witnesses, and her decision proved that the operation to kill the National Army officer was a conspiracy and that the group that carried out the various sentences were the ones who carried it out. While there were skeptical speculations about the possibility of exposing the entire scope of the conspiracy, the debates in many sections of the public believed that if the investigation were to be seriously targeted its officers could enter. Other government officials and individuals with close ties to the case, as the case went to the door of the head of the National Intelligence Agency in the Sool region, but discussions and analyzes related to the killing were awaiting their response to the Court’s decision not to be preceded.

But when the Court announced its decision, there was already a lot of discussion and analysis on the case, and the verdict was followed by further questions and debate. Following the Court’s decision, it was not clear who was behind the conspiracy. of the crime, as it was not involved in any clan or private affair between individuals, But according to her ruling it was a political conspiracy against a national official with national dignity and honor, and the assassination was carried out by an organized group including the intelligence chief of Sool region.

Therefore in the absence of a decision of the Court on the purpose and facts of the crime and who is behind it before the case is submitted to the Court it is necessary that its full investigation be submitted to the prosecution for prosecution in the Court, her face looks pale.

Although the court’s decision and the number of witnesses presented could not be said to be an investigation into the case, it is clear that the motive and motive behind the conspiracy and the perpetrators were not disclosed by the court. The perpetrators were found to be the perpetrators of the operation, which was apparently carried out by their captors. There have been speculative concerns since the intelligence officer was arrested in the case of how it could possibly affect other government officials and other individuals, as the person in charge of the case was the regional intelligence chief.

However, it should not be overlooked that it is necessary to state the motive and the perpetrators of the conspiracy, in the absence of which the court’s ruling is not complete, or such a decision may be considered a plot. is to summarize the scope of the case and the crime committed by the perpetrators only in order to save the perpetrators and the motive of the conspiracy, and it is at the heart of the public debate and analysis that the public is awaiting a clear response from the Court. It is clear who the group led by the Sool regional intelligence chief was working for.

But ignoring the roots of the conspiracy, if not found, could lead to the Sool region, where the assassination of the Commander of the 12th Division of the Somaliland National Army, Col.
